I’m a graduate of the fine institution that is QUT in gorgeous Brisbane, Australia. I hold degrees in Business and Information Technology – majoring in Marketing, IMC (Integrated Marketing Communications) and Information Systems.
I’ve been designing websites since 1997 and started out using Netscape Composer. I managed to get my hands on a copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop soon after and immersed myself in all things web design. It took a while before I even got my own domain and learnt about online marketing.
I know how to code HTML and CSS from scratch too!
I send out a weekly newsletter with SEO & Digital Marketing tips you can actually use and get real results with. Sign up here and join the cool kids club: SEO Newsletter
The digital space is where I feel at home and can mix it up when talking about web design, SEO and other aspects of search marketing and social media, UX and UI and even company culture. I remain deeply passionate about SEO and search marketing as a whole.
Right now, I’m looking at expanding my focus to cover a lot more of the digital world and it seems mobile and UI/UX are the next steps for me. As always, I’m looking to become a more confident digital marketing expert. I’m also a Muslim SEO consultant who is ever ready to help brands cater to Muslim audiences.
And in 2020, I was chosen to be a judge in the 2020 MENA Search Awards:
I was also chosen to be a judge in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 MENA Search Awards and countless other similar awards. I hope to continue this for many years to come!

The biggest take away from this is that my experience is vast and varied. This means I can easily draw from this experience to deliver results no matter the industry or size of the company. And incidentally, it doesn’t matter where the company is based or where its consumer base is. My experience shows that I know enough about SEO in order to deliver robust SEO strategy and stellar results.
I also run Dubai SEO Club – a place for Dubai and UAE SEO professionals to meetup and talk about our favourite thing in the world.
The next thing to ask yourself is: can you trust anyone else with less experience to truly get you results?
As a side note: I’ve also given a guest lecture on SEO at the Dubai Campus of SP Jain School of Global Management which was well received by students and teaching staff alike:
